That would look just priceless. A cut and weld system on a $50k plus truck. :nonod:

Wait wait wait... aren't you the one that said pull the Borla off and add a Magnaflow and build new tubing back? I sure hope you have a CNC mandrel bender because crush benders looks like you had some muffler shop out of the back of a gas station build that junk.

When you actually can weld worth a shit it looks fantastic...but as they say some people only have taste in their mouths. If you are worried about the "rainbow" finish take some scotch brite to it and buff the color away.

They are called 'Compression' benders, not 'crush' benders for starters, 99% of custom exhaust shops use them. If you think 'nice welds' on a cut and weld setup on a full tailpipe looks better than a compression bent tailpipe, more power to you, you are entitled to your opinion. And if that truly is your tig weld, you don't try to hide color in a tig weld, you embrace it. Of course I just have a muffler shop in an old gas station apparently.

Big difference in a exhaust shop and a fab shop I guess. Yes, they are my welds from the headers on the 32 ford truck in my avatar. If you want more pictures I would be happy to supply them.

Well this thread is going nowhere and full of worthless information .. I was simply asking if anyone knew if Borla sold the different exit options seperately from the whole kit.

But for me it worked out well as now I know what I have to do ha

My business is a fab shop and custom exhaust shop, among other things. Thanks for the offer on the photos, but I can walk out in any of my shops and see the same weld. Nice bench weld though, I'll give you that. Cheers
