Quick tow mirror question

My buddy just purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali with the new style tow mirrors (they have all the options + chrome caps) and he is looking at swapping them out for DL3 mirrors (all the options minus the marker light that the full tow mirrors have) off of my other buddies 2014 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ. Will they be a direct swap? I.e. Everything plug in and work correctly with no programming or anything required?

Ok, but will the LTZ mirrors swap directly onto the '15 GMC plug-in and function fully?

No they won't. The auto dim will not work. I just did this swap. I had to buy the door harness to get it to work.

So if I plug the DL3's from the Silverado into the GMC in place of the campers everything will work except the auto-dim?
