I have the BDS 6" lift with fox 2.5 coilover resevoirs up front and fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. wondering if I upgrade to the 2.5 resevoirs in the rear will it improve ride quality at all?

Is it in need of improvement? I believe they do make a 2.5, but it likely won't do anything for ride unless you are using the suspension to it's limits. What would serve you better is to go to an offroad shop and have them revalve your 2.0's to your desired feel.

You more than likely won't notice the difference. Had a mid travel build on my f150 with King 2.5s, and it was always floaty yet handled great offroad. But if you have a 6 inch lit, I doubt you'll be desert bombing to warrant the 2.5s with the resis aka never be introduced to shock fade

2.5 will ride slightly better on road than a 2.0 as the piston size and oil capacity is much larger, meaning it does not have to work as hard to deal with the bumps. Offroad the difference is much more noticeable.
