Traction control issue I think

Hey guys I have a 2008 gmc sierra 1500 Creek cab 5.3 4wd. Recently it was started throwing a "service stabilatrak service traction control" alarm. Here is what I've noticed. It only does it the first 10 minutes of the truck running after its set for a long period of time(over night) if it does it I can shut the truck off, start it back up and it's cleared. Now here is the kicker. I can start the truck up, turn the traction control off and it will never alarm out. So the traction control being off "fixes" it. Now I was finally able to have the check engine light scanned and the only code it's throwing up is a p0455 evap large leak code. Is there any way this is all tied together?

that code wont be tied with your traction control. could be one of your tires being more worn than the other causing it to read different speeds. could be wheel speed sensor. what type of scanner did you use? does it read more than just p codes?

The tires are pretty evenly wore with +/- 5psi of pressure in each one. Where are the wheel speed sensors located? The wheel bearing assembly? How could I pin point it without replacing all 4? These dang new trucks and their codes. Give me back my square body lol

Could also be a bad wheel bearing.

The truck drives as smooth and quiet as can be, BUT I know these dang sensors can hear what I can. How do they detect a bad wheel bearing, noise, heat or vibration? Or all of the above

a bad wheel bearing will cause that ws sensor to be out of range. may also be rust on ws sensor giving a bad ground. hang a scpope on the output of the ws sensor, jack up truck and spin tire, watch pulses. just saying
