WTT / WTB -- Chrome Window Molding

I have a Crew Cab with the black lower window molding and I would like to replace it with the chrome. Would anybody like to trade? We could pull them off and each pay shipping to send them out. You get black, I get chrome, a little cost for shipping, and everybody is happy!

I'd be interested in trading. I have about 1000 miles on my truck, so it still quite new - perfect shape. I'd rather have black trim. Do you know how its attached?

I haven't dug completely into them yet but usually you remove the door panels and there are 2 screws holding them in. After that you pull them up and they pop out (at least that's how other GM SUV/CUVs work). The only bad thing is we would have to drive around for a few days without any trim installed so water may get in there.

 

Mine are black, brand new (170 miles on the truck right now!). Shoot me a PM and we can talk about it offline.

Just did this same trade with someone else, and it cost about 15$ shipping via usps priority triangle box. Also, they remove quite easily. Each door has one torx #15 and snaps off. No pulling of door panels. Just be careful upon removal, as the clips have a tendency to break the tips off upon removal. Also, the rain concern isnt really an issue cause the door has weep holes in the bottom and has a vapor liner isolating the inside from out inside the door. After all, water gets in there when u roll down the windows on a normal basis
