POWDER COATING

hey all, a couple months back i decided to take up a new hobby since i have downtime in the winter from work. I decided since i wanted a couple things powder coated on my truck id take up the hobby and give it a shot. So i purchased a powder coating system and quite a few powder coating colors, i bought the colors in bulk because Eastwood gave me a very good deal on them when i purchased more. I have access to an "oven" so to speak at work that can hold up to two rims at a time to bake the powder coating at a controlled temp that i have access to whenever i want. Therefore i was thinking if anyone is interested in getting anything powder coated I'm willing to do so for them for cheap. Id like to start with small parts (no wheels for the time being) and can do most colors, I have everything from blue, green, red, yellow, orange, black, matte black, grey, gold, bronze, gloss white, matte white, purple, AND I have a cream colored white that I bought with thoughts that it MIGHT match the pearl white color pretty close however I have not tested that theory yet. So let me know what you have that you may want powder coated and we"ll go from there. I know how expensive local places charge to powder coat things so Id love to help you guys out if you need anything powder coated and save you a bunch of money.

Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of your oven. This is just so i know what you can fit so to speak length wise etc.

 

Also, do you have a media blaster to blast old paint/coatings off?

i don't know the exact dimensions of the oven however i can tell you that it will fit two 20" wheels at a time with a little room left (just wheels no tires obviously) so at least 40-45". And i do not have a media blaster at this time no. I only have the ability to powder coat and bake the finish at this time.

If you can't prep the parts before coating then that's a deal breaker for most people!
