WANTED: brackets/mounts for 50" curved LED bar - roof only

I'm looking for a set of roof mounts to hold a 50" curved LED light bar, and NOT the kind that the door closes on. The kind that get mounted into the rain gutter of the roof, and mount just above the windshield.

The NFAB are ugly as hell with their large guady logo cut out (not to mention I'm not tryin' to pay that kind of money to advertise their company), and the Rigid are like $250 for a pair which I think is insane. Anyone else got a lead on a good set of mounts that are fairly priced?

Did you check out rough country?? They have them for $50 I think. My buddy runs their light bar and stuff. Good quality.

With all of the 50" mounts or roof mounts is there drilling required?

Yes, theirs are the kind that the door closes on. I don't want to break the seal, I've heard bad things about those style over time.

I never installed it. I bought them to replace my rough country door mounts, but decided it wasn't worth whatever it was going to cost to re install the new brackets. Here are some pics off the internet.

 

 

 

I also cant guarantee it will work with your light bar, as I think its made for the putco 50" but I am pretty sure the radius curve and overall length on the putco and the on the RC are the same. I would be willing to take it back and refund you if it didnt work, if you wanted to give it a shot.

 

 

Also, just being completely honest, you can probably get these for free... I ordered them from RealTruck.com, then wanted to return them. I guess it costs more to ship than it does profit on the actual product so they let me keep them and refunded me my money. A little extra work but worth a shot.

Fair enough, thanks for all the info bud. I'm going to talk with a fab shop first and see if they can't whip me up a pair for something decent. Always love custom work and supporting local shops, so it could be a win/win. Depending on what I do, I'll hit you up via PM!
