Please help Radio/ navigation install gone wrong

first here is a list of what I have and what I am using

2010 Silverado non Bose system 5.3 let crew cab

Installing pioneer 8100 nex

Using axxess module gmos lan 01

And axxess aswc-1 steering wheel module

 

Tried connecting everything per wiring diagram given and now when radio is connected I have no instrument gauges lights are gone too. All warning lights come on. When I try to connect the ac controls those are not functioning as well.

 

Eventually I said screw it and tried to return everything back to stock but I am still having the same results. As long as radio is plugged in I have no gauges. Even with radio plugged in ac controls do not work either. Everything worked fine before i started and I disconnected battery before connecting everything. I checked all connections to make sure I did not mis wire anything. Someone please help. Right now I have battery disconnected and was going to leave it disconnected overnight to see if that resets anything.

You don't mention it, but, did you check all the fuses? In both panels? If all the fuses are good, then you must have missed something when you undid all that you did. I would get it back working with the factory stuff before trying to get the new stuff working. Once you get it back, then install just the head unit with the harness adaptor. Do not install the steering wheel module yet. Get that to work, then add in the next module. Make one change at a time, far easier to troubleshoot when only one thing to look at.

 

What you are running into is exactly why I went with the Advent OGM1. It was a plug and play nav head unit.
