2015 Sierra Exhaust Rattle on MBRP

Recommended Posts

I have a 2015 sierra with 4000 miles. I installed an mbrp catback at about 500 miles. Recently I have noticed that when I step on the gas to leave a stop sign or light the exhaust has a noise that sounds with marbles in a can. Any suggestions?

When I removed the factory exhaust that got rid of the flapper valve issue right?

Your MBRP being a catback, you obviously took the factor one off so unless that MBRP has a flapper valve for some reason, you would have no flapper issue. Did you purchase from a shop in town and they installed it? Did you order online and install yourself?

Hmm...I guess I'd check and make sure all the clamps are tight, maybe take a rubber mallet and tap on the muffler see if there is anything loose inside. Interesting that its under load when you hear it.
