And women....

Has anyone had any experience with the pro tuning lab light bars?

This light bar will be used to assist me camping at night and minor off road excursions. With this being said, I cannot justify some of the $500-$1000 dollar price tags on the higher end lights.

My questions are:

Do these light bars perform as advertised?

Will it last me?

Below is a link to the website, and the 50" bar I'm looking at. Please, if you have purchased one let me know how you like it.

I'm going to be starting a thread about the winch that my kids got me for Christmas, it mounts to the Hitch Receiver

Anyway, I know quality of the LED, heatsink, and power supply have a lot to do with price

I like AMAZON for reading reviews and learning about what I want to buy, not always the best price but the reviews help you decide what to buy

Did you read there yet? here are some I found (you can even ask questions), and they have a GREAT return process

Let me know what you decide !!

Props for the amazon review idea. They were honest, not the manufacturer commenting on their own product. How much was the wench? I think some of the larger brush guards/ off road bumpers have a receiver which would allow you to mount it on the front of the vehicles as well.

Thanks,

My hitch is rated to 10,000 pounds so I wanted a small winch that would be well under that rating, I got the 5,000 pound winch from Harbor Freight, it normally goes for $210 and I had coupon that brought it down to $165

I know some people pick on the Harbor Freight brand of winch (Badland Winches) but I did a lot of reading and this is a good cheap winch, If I had to winch something everyday I would buy the better brand LOL

Most of the trouble (and break down) come from people not following the manuals stated "Duty Cycle"
(time of power on winching and then time or rest and cool down)
There is also the "layer of wire rope performance" (Rated line pull for how many rolls are on the spindle)

I also got the Hitch Receiver Mount for Winches for $50

Here is the Winch

I also got some great wire and 400 AMP quick connect, I'll post them in my winch post :)

I love harbor freight but, yes many people do pick on harbor freight. However, most people are goof balls. Hehe
