First off I have a loaded 2015 Z71 LTZ with the 6.2 8 speed!!

Im getting rid of my Fabtech 4" lift on it and looking to raise it higher! I'm looking at either the McGaughys 7 to 9" lift set around the 7.5" to 8" around mark for $1650 or my buddy is trying to talk me into the Rough Country 7.5" lift kit for ($1100 powder coated) then add either Bilstein Shocks or Fox Shocks to it for the better ride. Is one lift going to be better than the other lift? I almost never have it off road(except for crossing a field for hunting) as it is just pretty much a pavement princess!! I know the McGaughys drops the differential 7" and it looks like the RCX kits drops it around 5 to 6". I need you guys help as Im new to this 4X4 stuff! Is one say $550 better than the other.

Thanks in advance!!

The McGaughys kit will drop your front differential the full 7" where as the RCX kit will drop it 5" for the 7" lift. So it's like having your angles of a level kit, where the McGaughys lift is like "closer to stock" angles. I wanna say the RCX kit you have to cut more as well

On another note, how much you selling your other lift for?
