Need a good place to find ...

... advertisements for used modified trucks. I want to buy a rig that has already been lifted, etc. Where is a good place to look for these (the local papers don't have much and websites like cars.com haven't been too helpful). For what it's worth, I live in Southern California.

I don't have the answer where to find the done rig, but I'll give you my $0.02 worth.

If it were me I'd feel more comfortable buying a truck that was stock and then either modifying it myself, or taling it to an offroad shop and having the work down.

Nothing can mess a good truck up more than a poorly installed lift kit. If you buy one that is already done, you don't know what was done to cobble it together. There could be suspension problems and miss-routed wires and cables with little splices in them. Bolts could be too tight or too loose, and the list goes on...

Bolt on mods are OK, but a suspension lift requires some techinical knowhow, special tools etc to be done right...

Well I have a 2002 Southern Comfort Conversion truck that is fully modded but it is only a two wheel drive but it has running boards, custom fade paint job, dual exhaust, tonneau cover, custom front fascia, true billet grille, to many mods to list and for the right price it is for sale. Sorry I don't have any pics as of right now but I am working on that.
