I do love big engines thou. The biggest I have seen are on ships. I was working at Avondal Shipyard on the Bob Hope class of sea lift ro-ro ships. They are the ones used to transport role on - role off equipment, track and wheeled vehicles.

Ok, on to the motors. 2 Propultion motors, I don't remember the HP rating but the shaft coming out of them was 6 ft in diameter. While I was standing at the center line of the crankshaft the top of the heads were 2 stories up. It was a V16 and over 35 ft long. WOW
