2016 power tailgate lock

How hard would it be to put a 2016 factory power tailgate lock on a 2015? Has anyone done this? Cost?

I don't know about using a factory lock from a 2016, but I installed a pop and lock in my 2015, very simple project, hardest part was finding the wires to tap into, but even that wasn't too hard.

agreed, the pop'n'lock is a cheap, easy way to go and works great - it is loud tho! Biggest PITA was having to open the wiring channel on the drivers' side and take off that damn black cover; other than that, pretty easy mod to do
