Led pods as fog lights

So I know how to mount the lights in the bezel and all that and I would like to do this, however I only want to do this if I can wire the lights into the stock wiring so that the pods will come on when the stock fog lights would come on, is this possible?? Or do I need a switch? I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT thanks for any input!

If you have the stock factory fog lamp option then yes it will work, if you don't have the stock factory fog lamps then no it wont work. Someone already tried to do it, the wiring harness from the cab to the front end is entirely different on trucks that don't have the factory fog lamps and the BCM is not wired to control the fog lamps either.

Oh ok cool I do have the factory fog lights, so do I just cut the plug and splice the wires together?
