It's the low speed vibration which is a severe problem. Between 30 to 45 mph. The buffeting problem isn't as bad.

Does that go away when you lean into the throttle? Mine has some vibration at those speeds but as soon as I give it some gas it will go away which makes me think that could be fixed with software.

It does go away if you give it more gas or let off however it causes you to constantly have to fluctuate your speed and rpm in order to control the horrible vibration...and there is a low dull loud noise with the vibration. its terrible. worse then the feeling of unbalanced tires.. i have rental several 2015/16 suburbans on vacations and none of them have had this same problem. i have rented LTZ's and LT's with 4 wheel drive....no problem....today i was told it was because the 2015 and 2016s have a tighter suspension so this is causing the issue and it is operating as normal!!!! yeah right! i filed a complaint with the BBB and now we are working together to resolve this issue.

I doubt it's the suspension. Have you tried driving in M5? That keeps mine out of 4 cylinder mode a good amount of the time and therefore reduces the vibration.

No, I haven't tried driving in M5 but if I switch it to tow/haul mode it immediately stops the vibration. If I turn it off, it comes right back.

Try M5 as it is a little 'softer' on the drivetrain than tow/haul, which is really for managing a heavier load.

Overall the vibration seems to only occur when under 1600 rpms in 4 cyl mode, which could be avoided with be an easy software fix although I don't expect one to be forthcoming.

DMOGIRL, what BuyAmerican said. This, I believe, is the resonance from V4 at lower speed pulsating through the exhaust. When it does this, look and see if it's in V4... I bet it is. I have the 5.3 with 3:42 gears and this only happens between 1000-1500 rpm in V4 with light throttle. The reason, I believe, is that it's in to high of a gear and the engine is lugging in V4. Put it in manual mode 'M' and no higher than 5th gear and it will stay in V8 and will not have the low RPM V4 rumble/drone.
