Tahoe Radio Swap with hidden compartment

Has anyone swapped their Silverado/Sierra headunit for the Tahoe/Yukon radio with the hidden compartment behind the radio? I wonder why the trucks didnt get these added to them. Would be a sweet option. Pretty sad they put them in Impalas but not the trucks.

 

Just wondering if it could even be done...

Not really hidden if it has a button to activate it, much less if it doesn't have a lock out feature. No way I would store a weapon in there either. I cant see any way this could work in the trucks, it would require at least a dash change out since our dash doesn't have the cutouts for the Infotainment to lift up.
