GM accessory Gift Card Credit

Has anyone gotten one of these.

 

I feel like the dealers parts departments are very reluctant to accept it.

 

One dealer has insisted that the accessories MUST be installed at the dealerahip.

 

Another dealer says that they don't offer any kind of discount if you're using the gift letter/credit.

 

Why is so hard to get my dealers to do anything at all like fix my truck or sell me an accessory.

 

Any experience with these, I'd really appreciate it.
