1500 to 2500hd grille

I have an 02 1500 and a deer just took out the front of my truck so I'm looking to go with the 2500 HD grille. I already have the HD hood and want to complete the look. I've read up on how I need the hd bumper pad to make the grille fit right, but since I have a 3 in. Body lift on my truck already, if I took the 3 inch bumper brackets off I would have an inch of space between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the grille. Anyone have any recommendations on what would be a good way fill the gap or know of anyone that makes a 1 inch bumper bracket? Thanks!

just go on ebay and spend the 75 dollars to get the right bumper step pad, it will look much nicer that way...

That's already the plan but there will be an inch of space between the bottom of the grille and the bumper pad because of the body Lift already on the truck
