Yes, I really need to go to the scale.

I put the truck in as 5400 and then added 950 pounds for people, dog, shell, golf clubs and other stuff in the back.

I honestly don't even know what the truck weighed when I bought it, I think I got 5400 from some internet site.

I'm not sure how the weights differ between a crew cab short bed and double cab regular bed (your truck) but, I hauled something to a land fill and my truck weighed 5880 lbs with me (190 lbs) and normal stuff that I carry. I don't know if that helps you or not.

I kind of forgot I posted this thread. Not taking trailer to Florida until December when my one year lease starts.

I pulled it home and parked it though. Around 25 miles on the route I took, there were shorter routes but it's a long trailer and I didn't want to go through town. WDH with 1200 pound bars and double sway bars. Pulled it at 60-65 mph.

It pulled great, just as good as the smaller 29 footer I use for work and camping local. I took the 29 footer, the one in my signature, down to Florida last winter and back. Probably 2500 miles total. It wasn't a battle. (that's 29 ft tip to tip, box is around 25 ft or a little more)

5770 on the smaller trailer sticker for dry weight. Wife had it loaded to the hilt. I also had a loaded cooler, golf clubs, dog kennel, 5-6x6 18 inches long for the stabilizer jacks, 3 ton floor jack, tool box in the back and 450 pounds of me, wife and dog in the front. The engine brake on the 2015 5.3 is very handy, came in real handy on Monteagle Mountain.

Still yet I love for a 2500HD. Matter of fact is I'm looking at 3500hd duramaxes instead just in case I decide to get a fiver in the future. Haven't had my current truck long enough to come out on a trade yet though.

Thanks for the update. Glad it pulled so well. That's great to know it has a lot of reserve in it based on my rig. These are great trucks
