Rocker Lights... Opinions?

I have a 2014 WT2 that is victory red and I recently added some nerf bars to it. I was considering running LED strips along the inside of the nerf bars so that they illuminate the truck. My thought was to get them in red and hook up the turn signals/marker lights to them.

 

I'd post a picture of the truck but it says all of my files are too big.

Either way, any thoughts on this? Red color ok to match the truck? I was trying to avoid amber. And I'm putting them on the inside of the nerf bar to avoid seeing the lights themselves.

If anyone's done anything like this Id appreciate pictures!

I think there is law ember lights legal for sides, Red only legal for lights facing rear.

Advice on these. Recon puts a round fuse holder on the ground wire. Cut it of and buy a blade style holder. I have had issues with the spring img the round style fuse holder wearing out.

are your light strips secure with clips or double face tape ?????

There just clips. Suprisingly haven't fell off. Been on for at least 250k miles.
