Every time i search on how to remove the 2010 Sierra headlights it seems way too difficult. Did GM really make a bulb change that hard to do? Is there a simple way to remove the headlights?

Are you talking removing the headlight bulb (low beam for example) or the whole headlight assembly? The low beam can be accessed on both sides. Driver's side, if you don't have an aux. battery you can get to, the passenger side you just have to pull the air box out. If you are pulling the whole lamp assembly out or trying to change the signal/marker bulbs, you have to remove the top underhood panel, remove the grille, and there are 3 screws. The hidden one behind the wheel liner you only have to loosen, the other two are behind the grille once you remove it.

ok so it is a major job to change any other bulb besides the low beam which is still a pain. I cant get my hand in there to change any of the other ones. what a pain and what were they thinking....

Aerodynamics, form and design now lead over function and ease of repair. Most every GM vehicle the front end must be disassembled to a certain point to remove the whole headlight assembly now. Every manufacturer has gone down this road unfortunately.
