Bought some new center caps for my new wheels. And I want to remove the clear coat. I first wanted to come on here and ask somebody here. But I asked a buddy of mine and he said acetone... waisted $8.63.. just makes the clear coat tacky... my new caps have chrome underneath the clear coat. What's good to use? These caps are brand new from gm. Never been on the road. I was thinkin aircraft stripper.

remove the clear coat from the center cap. To reveal the chrome
