Is the 110v plugin hard to remove from the dash?

I need to mount a FD portable radio charger in my truck and can't plug it in due to the way the radio plug (male end) is made, I want to take the plugin out of the dash and rotate it 90 deg then all my problems will be solved. It looks like a perfect square so I'd think it's possible?? I figured I'd ask here before I tackle it in the morning.

See my post #9 in the thread "2015 interior rattle deep in dash", it might be helpful.

Thanks guys, got it rotated 90deg, I did have to trim the side a bit as its not a perfect square as it looks.

Go ahead and post some pictures in case some else would like to do this.

Pretty simple, one screw at the top left of the cig lighter and two more on the bottom side. The plug pops right out and I took a knife and trimmed small amounts till it popped back in. Tried adding a pic of the plug that was causing my issue but the file was to big.
