Replaced ball joints, axles, bearings. Having intermittent humming plu

As stated on a 2008 Chevy Silverado ltz 4x4 I have this intermittent humming/buzz that appears to be coming from the left side, it happens whenever I steer right going plus 65 mph, the noise is steady and at exactly the same intervals. Changed both front hubs/bearing, axles, and did the ball joints on the front left. Also, I do not believe this to be related and don't want to get off track since my main concern is the humming noise but Im also getting this grinding noise whenever shifting up hill but this literally happens once in a blue moon. It is not constant and only happens randomly. It only lasts for a fraction of a second. Far as humming goes tires? Exhaust? Loose heat shield or any other non-drive train parts?

I also rotated the tires two times and both times the humming was not affected.

your right it could be something drive ability i would consider thinking about the trans having issues

I understand the grinding may very well be a tranny issue, transfer case, driveshaft etc... The only thing that really has me scratching my head is that it only does this noise when turning right, even if I slightly turn the wheel say 2 degrees while driving at a speed of 70 mph. There is no wobble or vibration, just a humhumhumhumhum noise.... sorry :noway:. Has me thinking that it in fact may be something non-drive train related that is making the noise. Perhaps a heat shield or maybe just exhaust. Btw tires are General Grabbers 245/70/17 all around.

Might be an axel idk if you said you replaced them but it could be messed up or you me tired might be hitting the side wall or something might not be tight you gunna have to think outside the box this is a tough one.......?

Or you have a bad hub those usually cause that type of noise

It could be a replacement hub is defective. I have had no luck with inexpensive ones.

Well the thing is that the noise is exactly the same, if replacement hub was defective I believe atleast noise wouldve changed atleast slightly. Right now Im starting to think it might be the tires. I bought em used at one of those tire shops.

That's a possibility because I believe every 1:4 tires could be defective doesn't happen to often or the tires are really over sized

are the tires bigger than factory, you might be hitting the plastic on the bumper if so. Maybe wind drag at higher speed is causing the plastic to flex enough to catch the tire a little? Just a thought

It could be but Im rolling on 17's and stock are 18's. I have to get under there and really see though maybe something is rubbing. Im thinking rotors are also a possibility I feel light pulsating when braking hard. Thanks everyone for your input. I already spent a little over a thousand trying to fix this "noise" so Ima just let it be for a few weeks. Maybe meanwhile noise will get worse and it will be easier to diagnose.

Just an update I turned both front rotors, front splash shield was cracked so I removed it and noise persists. All I got left to think is tires or drive train. Can anyone please shine some light.

I have good news. Problem appears to have been fixed *knock on wood* After spending almost two grand trying to pin point the issue it turned out to be the pinion bearing. I forgot to disclose this but the rear differential was buzzing and clearly needed attention. After taking it to Dan's Driveline here in Las Vegas one of their techs diagnosed a bad pinion bearing. He said every time I slightly swerved it would flex the rear end putting stress on the pinion bearing. i got my truck bad yesterday and until now the noise seems to have vanished hopefully it stays like this.
