Upgraded rear camera

When I purchased my 2014 Sierra I quickly noticed the very blurry and poor quality image from the back up camera. The old ladies '13 cruze was MUCH better. I assumed it was the 5 gallon bucket of wax they put on every inch of the truck but after striping it clean it still has blurry edges which really sucks at night. Are there upgrades to the camera?

I would try cleaning it really good. My camera is crystal clear. It got a little hazy when the dressing from my handle ran after some rain, but a quick cleaning helped that.

Try to clean it with some glass cleaner or alcohol to get any residue off.

There are no upgraded cameras available. I am in the exact same situation (even with a 2013 Cruze!) and have talked to all the OEM suppliers. Nobody offers anything with better resolution

That sucks because the camera is pretty bad. My mom's 2011 altima is crystal clear as in you could read from it.

Maybe you need to take it in to have it looked at , mine is crystal clear
