Fender flares on 2wd Crew?

Looking for opinions/pics etc. but is it worth it to put fender flares on a 2wd crew cab? The truck won't ever be lifted, but has a 2in level on now. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this. I can understand if your lifted, bigger tires, different wheels etc but does it make sense for a 2wd truck to have them? ( I will have different rims, based on others vehicles and know the tires will stick out some too )

If your wheels are gonna have some offset past the wheel well then it's up to you if you wanna install them (or possibly your state law, depending on your state). If you don't want your paint to get rocks thrown at it or mud then go ahead and install them, I just think you need at least a -12mm offset wheel for them to look right

My brother put some flares on his 2011 2wd extended cab and IMO they look pretty good. Granted they look better now that he is running a 6" lift with 35's but even before when he was running a level with 32's it made the truck look a lot meatier! I think it just depends on the look your going for....

Thanks. I'm just afraid to spend the money on flares and paint only to not like it. Just trying to see what others think/have done. I'm on a RC 2in level and I'm going to get 275/60/20 tires at some point. I don't plan to lift the truck either.

Ya I know what you mean! I have such a hard time making decisions on my truck, ive gone back and forth for three weeks on whether or not I should change my lugs from chrome to black...
