2016 Silverado grille swap

Hey guys, I posted about this last week but posted in the wrong section (my bad..had a few too many cold ones that night)

 

Anyways, traded my 14 for a new 16 LT about a month ago. My only gripe with it is the grille. It has the black plastic vents. I got a price on an LTZ chrome vent grille and I'm ordering it this week. Has anyone done a swap on a 2016 yet? Just trying to guage how difficult or easy it is. The swap I did on my 14 was easy..just a few rivets and retainers.

 

If anyone has done one on a 16, let me know how it went!

Remove the pins holding the radiator top shield, 8 clips and 4 bolts (on the top) hold the grille to the front of the trucks. Remove the bolts, then pull the grille off the truck (two hands starting on either side of the top). The only thing I'm not sure of is if they still have the baffle attached to them. If so, you may have to swap that over from the old grille.

You got a PN for the LTZ grill?

 

I may wind up doing this myself.

 

The chromeout front fascia has kind of grown on me.

 

I'm also interested in the chrome center piece where the tag bracket mounts. That may be too much work to replace though.
