4l80e aftermarket pan

My truck (99 Sierra 2500 4x4) is currently in the shop getting the transmission rebuilt and I have been doing some research on certain things about the 4l80. One of the things I read was that a aftermarket aluminum pan would be something to throw on it to prolong the life of the transmission as well as keeping the temp down, which is the main goal. If anyone has installed an aftermarket trans pan on there truck please reply with suggestions. Thanks in advance.
