Bluetooth Audio Issues

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a 2016 Sierra Denali and I just started having issues with audio quality with taking calls over Bluetooth.

When I have a call coming on now, it will start to answer and fail back to the phone's audio

If I place the call, it will connect but the audio is very choppy.

I have tried to pair my device again and that did not help. Anyone else have these issues? I am using an iPhone 6S with 9.3.2.

Not sure about the choppy audio. But definitely delete the phone from your truck, and delete the truck from your phone and re-pair your phone to the truck.

As for the call coming in and going to phone audio...are you answering the call by using your phone? Or Are you accepting the call on your radio screen/DIC screen?

Found this fix:

On the iPhone: Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings. N.B. This will reset your WiFi info as well, so be prepared. This will also change your phone's name to "iPhone".

In the Car: Delete the old iPhone's connection info.

On the iPhone, change your phone's name from "iPhone" to whatever you want it to be.
Re-pair the car and the phone.

Number 1 issue with GM Bluetooth is IPhone. Definitely try Fondupot's fix. Seen it fix quite a few.
