Steering wheel audio control

I have an after market radio that I'm installing that will allow me to control it through the steering wheel but here is the deal. I can not find out what color to match up with what since i don't know the color codes from the factory pin. Anyone know what color activate audio functions.

Would be helpful if you provided year and model of vehicle you are installing this (brand/model not stated) radio into. My first guess would be that it does not work that way, all the remote controls are run through the BCM so it would be a GMLAN bus connection to the aftermarket sound device. Most aftermarket radios do not do this natively, they require the use of an external adapter. The now discontinued OGM1 head unit (from Wally on this site) had this built in, so it required nothing more than plugging into factory harness for it to fully integrate automatically into the vehicle.

My bad i have a 2004 suburban and the aftermarket radio i have is a Smart Interact something cheap for now but it have its own wires to tap into the steering wheel control

Key 1 - which is Black and orange for steering wheel control

Key 2 - which is Brown for steering wheel control ( when vehicle have 2 positive signal wires)

P.CNTR - white & blue for amplifier signal input

Can RX - Yellow for can Bus Control cable

CanTX - Red for CanBus control cable

 

Need to know where to patch these wire into the factory connection
