Aeromach Flamed Bowtie

I recently purchased the flamed bowtie seen here:

and can`t recommend it. While the piece looks nice enough I ran into some problems. First of all is the packaging. It appears to be vacuum packed onto a piece of cardboard. The clear plastic has an adhesive on it that renders it d**n near impossible to get the thing out of the packaging without destroying it. The package has a set of very unclear directions for removing it along with a warning that failure to comply with the directions will void the 3 month warranty. It took me a full hour to get it loose and remove the sticky plactic from the surface of the product.

 

I proceeded to place the bowtie on my back window. I thoroughly cleaned the glass with rubbing alcohol before sticking it in place. Right away 2 of the flames didn`t want to stick. One won`t stick for the top 1/2 inch and another has peeled all the way off the glass over the course of 6 days.

 

I contacted Aeromach with my concerns and haven`t heard back from them which has lead me to post this unfavorable report.

Not worth the $30.
