I contacted GM and they said the textured plastic doesn't have a part number.

This is one option 84029800 to replace the whole valance. Is like 215 plus 75 core charge from gmpartsnow or plasti-dip your chrome one.

Ive never seen a black one. You either have the ltz/high country chrome. Or you get the whole LT/WT valancein textured plastic

I guess it’s a possibility the black version does not seperate from the entire section. 

 

Only version that seperates is the chrome version?! Seems silly GM would do that but maybe.

Every parts site I look at has it seperate, no matter what model truck. But I can’t find a pic of a black one by itself.

I have all black lower valance on Lt truck, in ohio , I’ll trade of the whole chrome and black valance , I’ll switch both and pay a little boot,thanks

There is no black version that is a direct replacement for the chrome. 

 

The black version ones are actually molded into the entire bumper piece. You’d have to swap it all out. 

 

What I did was coat mine in bed liner spray. 

 

Twice actually. First time over the chrome and it bubbled. 2nd time I chipped all of it off and peeled all the chrome off, down to bare grey plastic and did it again with a raptor bed liner kit (first time was just a rattle can deal)
