Leveling Kit? What size tires??

I am installing a RC leveling kit on a 2015 GMC Canyon and wondering what size of tires I can run without any problems. They recommend a 265/70/17 but wondering if I can put a 275/70/17 under it without any problems?

For 1.25" leveling kit, I know you can run 265/65R17.

I have a similar setup and It fit fine, only problem was rubbing on the molded style hard mud flaps that attach to the fender flares. If you don't have those mud flaps you wont have an issue. If you do have the mud flaps and flares I had to have the flaps re mounted and modifies. GM did all the mods for me as they sold me the tires and told me they would fit.... best thing about buying things from the dealer is its their problem when things don't work ;)

I have a 2017 Canyon SLT with 265-60 R 18 stock from the factory with plenty of room to spare. I think the body style is the same for 15 -17
