285s will fit?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

A buddy of mine has BFG All-Terrain KOs on his '00 Silverado. The tires have about 2,000 miles on them. Two of them were slashed, so hes getting rid of the good two, and giving them to me for free. They are 285/75-16s

Will these bad boys fit on my '97 Yukon 4WD? I know the factory tires are 245/75s, so these 285s are a lot taller.

I just know that these are great tires and would hate to pass up this deal. Thanks.

I just put 285/75-16's on my 1999 Tahoe LT. They are on American racing Outlaw II's. They are the same offset as the factory wheels. They fit like a tight glove. No Rubbing unless I go fast Off Road. I think you will be able to do it. Everyone said I wouldn't be able to and I can. I didn't even mess with the T-Bars. For the price I say go for it. They should work. Will make the truck look killer as well.

Later,

Brandon
