The results are back on the enviromental assessment. They are going to meet earlly next week to discuss the fate of the trail system. Alan Newman is the decision maker. He is the supervisor out of Hot Springs, AR. I need help letting him know how important it is to the ATV community that the trails are reopened. Please e-mail him with you request. Just ask him to do what he can to get it reopened soon.

His e-mail is [email protected]

Please take the 30 seconds required to let him know people are interested.

Thank guys!  This area has about 80 miles of trails, with some caves and water so clear that if 20 feet deep, you can see the bottom. Trail system is marked from easy to difficult and two nice parking areas.  People pretty much bring out what they took in.

After a major ice storm it was shut down. And, they took some water samples a little before that. The problem was the water samples had more sediment in them due to some people who were riding off the marked trails.  So, they shut it down for re-eval and then the ice storm blocked the trails.

It is a beautiful place to ride. I will have to post some pics.

Thanks again!!!
