Does this engine have enough power for a 6" inch lift with some 35s?

Welcome to this forum! There is a great deal of information on lift and level kits on this site and worth doing some reading before proceeding with such a modification. A "6" inch lift with some 35s" will tax the power of any stock engine. I'm sure the V6 will work but depends if it is worth the loss in power and fuel economy! I have a V6 and would be inclined to go with a more moderate change.

Google this question and you will find reports of significant decreases in fuel economy with most trucks unless you change gearing and/or retune your engine. I think lifted trucks with huge wheels look great and can be a lot of fun when off-roading. This isn't a cheap modification to make (or operate) and I wouldn't do it if fuel costs are a concern. I suggest you read http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/152356-2014-suspension-lifts/ . It is a very large thread but if you skim through it you will find some fresh ideas and real-life experiences which may be helpful.
