2010 5.3 Burns 1 Qt in 5000 miles

Just an update, got my AFM range put in. changed to fresh oil.. Have been watching the dipstick like a hawk.

 

So far, 900 miles on oil, and 0 oil burnt.

I just saw your post.

 

I did the TSB and replaced the valve cover and I also installed the Range.

 

My oil consumption was 1 qt every 4,000 miles, I just went out and checked the oil.

 

I now have 1,000 miles on the truck since the oil change and it is still full.
