Blinkers and signals not working when break pedal is pressed

So long story short after I hooked up my trailer to my 2004 Silverado 1500 4x4 my signals go all weird on the back end when the break pedal is pressed, all lights flash and all will go out even with signals off and just only hitting the break. I've checked all my fuses and they seem to be good. Changed my flasher relay and still no dice. Anything else I'm missing or could try? Tired of being pulled over and warned about my lights! Not to mention it's driving me nuts!

Thanks

Three things...make sure you have a good ground between the trailer and the truck, make sure the grounds on both the truck and trailer are good, check wiring on the trailer. Its about a 1% chance its the actual truck.

Sounds like a bad ground for sure

Sorry I forgot to make clear that it's even doing it without a trailer on the truck.

Any spots for the grounds I can check? Not too familiar with the truck.

So I did some electrical testing and found out it's a ground in the rear that's getting shitty connection. Any idea where the ground is on the frame or bed for the rear is?

When you say you found it, is it in the harness to the 7 way trailer harness that your trailer hooks up to or the wiring harness that comes off the frame to the rear lights, themselves?

Well that information made my "1% chance of it being the truck" statement void.
