Air recirculation - outside odors entering cabin-any updates

Recommended Posts

There are some old threads on this but wanted to know if anyone with 2014 or newer were still experiencing this problem, in that outside odors and fumes still enter the cabin while air is in recirculate.

I know the 2014 manuals said in order to prevent outside odors to use the button, but GMC has since changed the language to "reduce the outside odors" so they clearly know it is an issue.

I am taking mine back in this week to see if there is a fix that works. I literally had another asthma attack this week while stuck in traffic behind a smoky diesel, the second time in the last 3 months. If it can't be fixed I will be trading in and going back to Toyota, and this week if I can get a deal done. I drove a f250 this week as well as a f150, and have to say no issues and felt that they drove better. Wish I could turn back the clock. As much as like this truck, my health is more important. Hopefully there is a fix.
