How do I remve the signal lens under the headlamps on a 01 tahoe?

Did a quck look but didn;t see anything obvisous!

I had to do this once on my '99 Silverado and it was a real PITA! You have to take the headlight out first before you can get the lower unit out.

Actually...

It could not have been any easier. 2 pins to pull out, headlamp lens falls out, and signal lens just unclips!!

Had it all out and back together in 2 min.

Thats some thinking in design!

I agree, changing a bulb is VERY simple on these new body style trucks. If only the housings didn't leak and allow water to get in and blow out the DRL's! I have replaced 3 of them on our '00 Silverado in the 2 years we have owned it.
