Canyon grille

Am quite pleased with my 2016 Canyon SLE, but wish I had two things:

The chrome lower grill that is standard on the SLT. Local dealer says he doesn't think the SLT chrome grill will fit on my SLE?

The rear sits a bit higher than I like - is there any way to lower the rear end?

For the rear. You can either level the front, or see if there is a drop shackle available yet to lower the rear. The rake is there for load carrying purposes. You load the bed, it levels the truck, and keeps the headlight aim correct.

The chrome. Are you talking about that center chrome "plate" below the painted center piece of the bumper, where the front license plate would sit? The center where the tow hooks are, etc?

Yes, I understand that, but 95% of the time my truck isn't loaded. I just think it would look better without the rake.

Yes, I would prefer the look of the SLT model (without the expense) Seems like I could replace the black plastic on my SLE with the chrome piece that is on the SLT, but haven't been able to get a definitive answer.

Also, I really like the LED daytime running lights on many cars, to include the Chevy trucks - my Canyon has the LEDs, but they do not illuminate in the daytime. Wonder if they could be wired to illuminate daytime instead of the "spots".
