radio drained the battery

I have a 2004 silverado I got home yesterday turned truck off had the keys in the with me, came out this morning to go to work and the truck was dead like it didn't even have a battery in it. With no keys in the ignition it sounds like some was moving inside the dash, I get home and try to jump it with no luck so I put it on charge and its charging with no keys in I push the radio power button and the time flashes.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I did see a you-tube vid where a guys radio was drawing power from his battery as much as 4 amps.

I think my battery is toast its just a year old.
