Rear bumper question

Will a 1500 bumper fit a 2500? Just the chrome bumper itself? I can't seem to find the part numbers online. I can transfer all the plastics to the new bumper. The appear to be the same other than the top plastic cap

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question. Could you let me know if once you get your new bumper if, once installed on the new bumper, the top plastic cap fits nice and tight with no gaps along the metal? I had to replace my top plastic cap and the new one has never fit as tight with no gaps like the original one did.

YES, IT WILL TRANSFER JUST FINE THE PART #'S ARE THE SAME FOR 1500 AND 2500 ON THE CHROME REAR BUMPER BAR ONLY. GOOD LUCK YOU ARE ALSO GOING TO NEED NEW 2 NEW RETAINERS TO REMOUNT THE SPARE TIRE ACCESS POINT CASE. PART # ARE 15040331 & 15769308. JUST IN CASE YOU NEED A NEW CASE HERE IS THE PART # 22979267. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TRANSFER EVERYTHING AT THAT POINT. GOOD LUCK.
