Does anyone have this installed? I ordered it but I noticed it doesn't use shims to align. You just pivot the axle and tighten it. Has any9ne had any issues with pinion angle?

Had nothing but issues with the DJM flip kit. I posted this in the other thread, thought you had seen it.

I adjusted the pinion angle on the DJM 8-ways to Sunday and never could get the vibes to go away, spoke to them numerous times.

FYI...

Not sure what happened with mine, installed the DJM flip kit which should have been 7" it was more like 8 1/4" when I called DJM they had no answers as to why. LOL

Then I installed their hanger to get a 6" drop it turned out to be 5". No answers for this either.

I took that crap off sent it back and put the Belltech 6" flip kit on and got a 6" drop....

Of course BT is no help with my small vibration issue as I have 4wd and they don't want to offer any help, even though the 2wd and 4wd parts are the same and the kit they sell comes with guess what??? Yep transfer case spacers...HMM...Azzhats

That was a fiasco..

So I should send it back? Only reason I went with it is because adjustable. I dodnt want to have to try a bunch of shims if i bought the mcg kit

Its hard to tell every truck is different on whether any shims are needed with the McG or BT flip kits., I didn't like the DJM kit. It's a PITA to adjust and moved.

Here is pictures when the axle moved, that DJM couldn't explain.

So if i order through mcg flip and grab a 2" shim I should be ok? I don't want any issues as its a new teuck

I would think so, however you could end up needing a different size.

It's a lot easier to try shims then adjust the DJM kit. Plus both McG and BT have specific flip kits for 2014+ trucks where as DJM uses the same kit from the mid 2k's.

Just ordered the mcg flip with 2 degree shim. Itl be a good starting point
