2015 Sierra reverse lights will not turn off

Hey guys... my 2015 GMC Sierra AllTerrain 1500, the reverse lights will not turn off when I park the truck. I've tried unhooking the battery and hooking it back up. Also tried driving it around and parking again... I'm at a loss for ideas.

Gotta be an issue with the safety neutral switch on the side of the transmission, probably slipped out of position by a hair, doesn't take much

I saw a 2014+ with the reverse lights on driving down the interstate the other day.

Until I get time to go to my dealer I removed the back up light bulbs. However now my fog lamps will not turn off ! WTF !

My 2014 GMC Sierra SLT 1500 is doing the same thing some times they will go off on there own sometimes I have to start it and switch through the gears to get the reverse lights off and then some days it's not a problem
