Borla Atak vs Corsa Sport

Hey guys looking to purchase a catback for my truck and I'm stuck between the Borla and Corsa can't really find any comparisons on them. Just curious on which one sounds better and which one is better quality.

Have the Corsa 14871 on my rcsb '16 5.3. Not the most subtle exhaust to say the least. Very rich and powerful tone. Quality is top notch - however, I've heard exactly the same with Borla. I've only heard the Borla Touring in person and it's not much louder than stock. You will not be disappointed with either :driving:

Corsa and Borla are both great quality made systems. The sounds they produce are different, so you need to listen to them to decide which sound is best for you. Put on some decent headphones and start searching for youtube exhaust videos

Anyone know anything about the Stainless work exhaust catback system?

SW makes excellent products as far as fit, finish, and overall quality are concerned. All hand-bent and hand-welded AFAIK. The age old adage comes to mind---you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the info. Have you ever heard one in person?

No, not in person. However, it seems all of the high end exhausts produce an addicting performance tone with little to no drone.

I wonder if i could just buy the mufflers and then have a local muffler shop bend me some pipe to keep the cost down wonder if it would sound the same

Had a reputable exhaust shop do my fathers truck for last fathers day. We had a stainless Dynomax ultra-flo welded in, and a new 3" tailpipe fabricated to get rid of the flapper and resonator. I personally cant stand the sound that setup makes. I recommend going with a tried-and-true high-quality aftermarket setup. Even if it costs around $1000, you won't regret it.

Pretty much came down to those same 2 several months back....really liked the sound of both and they're both great quality. Ended up getting the Corsa sport because I found it for $975 on sale with rebate, no shipping, no tax. Sounds awesome! Definitely considerably louder than stock. Excellent quality, bolted up perfect, no leaks at all using the included band clamps. Took 2 of us an hour, keeping the stock exhaust whole, using a lift.

I went with Corsa. Sounded great. I have dyno video from May with just Corsa exhaust on it. I also have dyno video with American Racing Headers and a few other bolt ons.
