Ground wire

Hello, on my 95 K1500 I just noticed that there is a broken off ground cable. The end thats broken is attached to the drivers side front exhaust manifold bolt. Any idea where the other end goes? The cable looks to be the size of a battery cable. This may have been installed by previous owner? Not sure if its factory. Any help would be appreciated.

Has any one got any engine pic links that I could see where this wire goes?

It sounds like a cable to ground the engine to the frame.

I agree with MarkD,

It should go to the "firewall" (body) or "Frame". Good luck, I just sold my mid 90's K1500 so I can't look at it for you.
