Which magnaflow

[Troubles]

Greetings all, I'm looking for feedback on magnaflow exhaust. I have a 2006 GMC Sierra Denali 6.0

I'm replacing the old flow master and am not sure which of the Magnaflows

To choose from. The 12469, or the

12599. From what I've read the 12599 will make my truck sound about stock. Both mufflers are 3" in and 3" out and I am running the stock 3" factory tailpipes. I've read the shorter 12469 is louder. I don't understand the difference between the 12599 being an 'X' note and the 12469 being a 'Y' note ? I'm leaning towards the shorter 12469 as I prefer A louder than stock system. I would greatly appreciate some feedback from some of you guys that are running either of these Magnaflow's. Especially as to sound and performance.

I don't have experience with either of those, but I have the 12909 on mine. It's two 3" inlets to one 3.5" outlet. It's a 22" long muffler. It keep the truck very quiet but still gives a good tone.
