Crank no start after coolant flush

00' 2500 5.7 RWD

I'm working on a ranch truck that drove just fine before installed parts.

 

I replaced wp, thermostat, and radiator.

I had zero issues, except for wasting time trying to use the new brass adapters they throw in the box. I replaced the ground wire that bolts to water neck bolt and is only wire I remember touching.

I installed a capped "T" on the all rubber heater inlet hose to attach a garden hose to flush the system (the hose on right side on firewall, ending at block). I ran the truck with water on and I think it stalled or I shut it off.

 

Either case, it once or twice turned over for second s and kept stalling. Now it will only crank, no start.

 

Here's my thinking. I either:

A. Bumped a vacuum line or wire

B. Perhaps I failed to fill engine completely and a coolant level sensor is preventing running?

C. I've simply come across another issue entirely. Ie. CPS? No spark?

 

I gotta get her running Mon. Morning ?

fuel pump. Time to check the fuel pressure.

I'm gonna spray starter fluid first thing tomorrow, but I'll have my psi tester to go on second. Its just so irritating because I'm not retarded, and this issue arose "after" I touched it. Its personal.

psI reads 0 on crank. But when key is turned to "on" I hear a whine coming from tank. If I wait just enough and turn key "off" I'll hear same whine. CMIIW, Isnt that the fuel pump priming?

 

Also, starting fluid will start engine if momentarily! So there's that.

Even if it's starting up briefly on its own but stalls promptly? I'm still reading 0 psi. Can the pump still deliver like an ounce of fuel just enough to fire but still be kaput?

Sorry for late reply.

 

I'm only part time so when I got back to work a few days later my boss said he took it to a shop *?. He tells me he only paid to get brakes done and that it was out of gas....

I put 5gallons in it while tooling around.
